Zorc appeared in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime, and was parodied in Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. Zorc made his first appearance in the Yu-Gi-Oh! series (in Season Zero) in a RPG made by Ryou Bakura (who was possessed by the spirit of the Millenium Ring, Yami Bakura). Zorc was the final boss in the RPG and had a connection to Yami Bakura's Spiritual body. When Zorc's left arm was wounded, Yami Bakura lost control of Ryou's left arm. Zorc did not reappear until Season 5 of Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. He was known as Zorc the Dark One or Dark Master Zorc. In this Season, Zorc was the ruler of the Shadow Realm. His power was invoked when the seven Millenium Items were created by Aknadin, and Zorc was awakened. Zorc was sent back to the Shadow Realm by the power of Yami Yugi's Millenium Puzzle by Yami Yugi's father, but at a terrible price. In the final battle against Zorc, little Yugi discovers Yami Yugi's true name. When Yami Yugi uttered that name the dead Egyptian God Monsters were revived (for Zorc had destroyed them) and fused them together to summon the Creator of Light. Zorc was then destroyed once and for all.
