Zoomers are insectoid creatures that appear as minor obstacles to Samus Aran in the Metroid video games. They have been encountered primarily in the Brinstar caverns of Zebes and the Overworld of Tallon IV. Zoomers are simple creatures that show no interest in Samus when she passes through their territory and will simply crawl across whatever surface they are clinging to regardless of any surrounding activity. They are weak and can be easily destroyed by any of Samus' weapons. While Zoomers do not actively attack Samus, they will cause damage if they touch her.
