Zombies make their debut in the first game of the franchise as main enemies, there are types of zombies that carry cones on their heads which they call coneheads, others carry buckets to have a resistance, also zombies can be easily defeated by plants , except that some zombies are special, like the newsreader zombie, the All-Star zombie who is much faster, and the Gagantuar who is the strongest of all, at the end of the game you notice that the zombies leave him his last note the player to dance to the song "Zombies on your Lawn" as it appears in the credits
Plants vs. Zombies 2[]
In the sequel, zombies are a very important threat to the player, since his neighbor Crazy Dave, after eating a taco, wants to go back to the past to eat it and with the help of his time machine Penny, they travel to the past through various worlds.
Zombies also appear in several worlds, all of them infected with cultural characters, such as mummies, cavemen, cowboys, bathers, pirates, among others, in addition to the Gagarntuars and the Imp are with them to make things worse.

Plants vs. Zombies Heroes[]
Zombies return in the game as hostile characters, although this time Dr. Zomboss improves his zombot to turn zombies into heroes, however after a small accident, he ends up turning plants into heroes, starting a war between heroes
Playable zombie heroes include Super Brainz, The Smash, Impfinity, Rustbolt, Electric Boogaloo, Brain Freeze, Professor Brainstorm, Immorticia, Z-Mech, and Huge Gigantacus.
Each of the zombie heroes have stories in various worlds in plant missions, where each of them is the main hero.
