Youki Konpaku is a half-human, half-phantom swordsman, appearing in the background lore of the Touhou Project. The former gardener and fencing instructor of Hakugyokurou, Youki spent 300 years serving Yuyuko Saigyouji, before eventually leaving the shrine in the hands of his student, Youmu Konpaku. As such he has yet to physically appear in any official Touhou materials. Currently, Youki lives in seclusion, his whereabouts unknown. Youki is also one of the few people who knows the whole story behind the sealing of the Saigyou Ayakashi. Since this event happened 1000 years ago, long before Youki started serving Yuyuko, it is presumed that the story is passed on down the Konpaku line.
