The Yellow Opera is a type of Emblem Heartless that appears as a recurring enemy in the Kingdom Hearts video games. It is one of several "Mage"-type Heartless that specifies in a particular magical element, in the Yellow Opera's case, lightning.
Appearing across multiple worlds, the Yellow Opera is a small, cone-shaped enemy that uses the power of lightning in battle. It hovers about in the air, darting away from enemy attacks and counter-attacking by casting Thunder, striking enemies with bolts of lightning. It can also electrify its body and shock the player by charging into them.
Yellow Operas pose a clear threat when they first appear but eventually become little more than a nuisance as the player reaches higher levels. They are physically weak and cannot withstand much punishment from regular attacks. They are also weak against most magical attacks, except for Thunder which will heal them.
