The Under Taker - also referred to as "Cleaner" or "Trashsweeper" - was a humanoid B.O.W. created by the Umbrella Corporation. This series of living weapons was only seen in the video game Resident Evil Survivor.
Overview[]
The Under Takers were humanoid B.O.W.s completely clad in form-fitting black uniforms with body armour protecting the torso. Their faces were hidden behind gas masks so it is unknown what they look like.
The purpose of the Under Takers was to act as a rapid-response force to "clean up" viral leaks and other biohazardous disasters that occurred within Umbrella facilities. Their main objective in such situations was to destroy evidence of Umbrella's activities to prevent the authorities learning of the company's wrongdoings. This entailed destroying experimental materials and sensitive documents as well as terminating rogue B.O.W.s and possible witnesses. To ensure that all evidence was erased, the Under Takers themselves were also designed to rapidly disintegrate should they be killed.
The only confirmed deployment of Under Takers occurred in 1998 when Umbrella's Tyrant production plant on Sheena Island suffered a catastrophic T-virus leak. During this operation, the UTs were led by a human commander from the Umbrella Special Service.
Equipment[]
Under Takers were equipped with night vision scopes, black body armour, and were armed with Heckler & Koch MP5s, some of which mounted laser sights so that they could snipe at enemies while concealed.
