A Ubagabi is a type of ghostly hag from Japanese folklore that manifests as a ball of flame with the disembodied head of an old woman inside it, the ghost of a woman who died of shame after being exposed as an oil-thief in her former life.
Ubagabi fly at incredible speeds, up to 4km in the blink of an eye, as they race across the world they may bump into unfortunate humans and when they do so the victim will die within three years, they can also rarely appear as chickens but do not stay long in these forms.
