The Trans-Galactic Empire (TGE) is a totalitarian intergalactic empire controlled by a Lovecratian-like entity in the pencil-and-paper roleplaying game Rifts by Palladium.

The Trans-Galactic Empire is a totalitarian regime in the Three Galaxies, which is controlled from the shadows by an incredibly powerful colossal alien intelligence which is also completely insane, the Dweller Beneath. Ruling the empire as its servant is the Kreeghor Emperor, each of which has been chosen by the Dweller Beneath and bestowed with superhuman powers. It's an empire dominated by the Kreeghor, a warlike race of reptilian-looking mammilian humanoids who used to be one of the Splugorth's major servitor races. Who rose up against their masters and broke free, though unknown to them their rebellion and the establishment of their empire was all orchestrated by the Dweller Beneath.
The elite of the empire are the Royals, a super powered caste of Kreeghor. It has a population in the trillions and controls 100s of thousands of worlds. The empire controls a third of the Corkscrew Galaxy (the southern part), and one third each of the Thundercloud and Anvil galaxies. A few of the conquered species have earned a higher position in the empire, proving themselves worthy in the eyes of the Kreeghor, including the Wolfen (humanoid lupines), the Machine People, and the Silhouettes (dark skinned humanoids).
It's an intergalactic empire with a vast war machine and sophisticated technology. Serving in the war machine are conscripts and volunteers whom come from all of the races within the empire, though the Kreeghor dominate positions of leadership. Though the military itself is feared and hated by the oppressed populace, the citizens hope to join as those who are in the military have far greater privileges, many more right, and receive benefits unlike the regular citizenry. It's armada consists of 100s of thousands of warships including over 10,000 capital ships, each nearly a km in length or larger. The legions are equipped with power armor, mecha, and directed energy weapons. It's shock troops are genetically-engineered super beings, who serve in the Invincible Guard. Who outrank all in the empire, except the Royals and the Kreeghor Emperor.
