The Mother is the main antagonist of the 2022 horror film Barbarian. She was played by Matthew Patrick Davis.

She is an extremely deformed human being with a frail body composed of slender arms and legs and nails that resemble claws. Her hair is long and raggedy and her face is terribly malformed. She measures approximatedly almost 2 meters tall and despite her frail body she is inhumanly strong and resistent as she was able to kill someone with just her bare hands and could survive a car winding and a fatal fall from a building that would kill a normal human. Her deformity is a genetic mutation that resulted from decades of rape and incest caused by Frank.
The Mother is a mutant creature that possessed incredibly inhuman abilities such as superhuman strenght, stamina and agility and also has night vision as she is able to see through the darkness of the depths of the Barbary Street house.
She has an extremely childish behavior, which she acts like a girl pretending to be a mother, as well as also has a feral mind since she acts instinctively fierce whenever she fells that her "children" are threatened.
