The Mask is the name given both to the arcane, magical item in the shape of a mask and the entity that results from a person wearing the Mask. The first person to adopt the identity of The Mask after wearing the item for the first time was Stanley Ipkiss and he has also become known as the most relavant owner of the Mask. However, the Mask has been used by several others, but most of these people are not often recognized as "The Mask".
