In the year 1985, John Bennett, a lonely boy from suburban Boston, makes a Christmas wish that his bear Teddy (Ted) come to life to be his best friend. Years later, they continue to live in Boston and in a carefree way, but John has problems with his partner, Lori Collins, due to his great friendship with Ted.
Ted 2[]
After the events of the first, Ted (Seth MacFarlane) and Tami-Lynn (Jessica Barth) end up getting married, while John (Mark Wahlberg) has been divorced from Lori for several months. Several months after they get married and have several problems in their marriage, Ted and Tami-Lynn decide to have a baby. And when trying to get fertility treatment, the government ends up stepping in to prevent them from becoming parents, considering it John Bennett's property.
So Ted and his friends will have to prove that he is not property, but a person like any other.
