Strife is a minor character appearing in the My Little Pony: The Movie prequel comics. He was the Storm King's former second-in-command.

Strife is a strange,unknown creature, appearing to be some kind of anthropomorphic cloud with blue eyes, a black body and two arms.
Biography[]
Strife was the Storm King's second-in-command, always talking about how his army felt and his assaults on the other kingdoms. One day, after the Storm King stole the Malachite of Misfortune, the king's ship was attacked by Captain Celaeno and her crew.
It turns out that Strife sent them a message in a bottle telling them to bring him back as he betrays the Storm King and agrees to be a member of his crew, which angers the Storm King and he appoints Grubber as his second-in-command.
Later the Storm King arrives at Captain Celaeno's ship and takes revenge on Strife for betraying him, throwing Strife overboard, presumably at the cost of his life.
