The Star Mother, also known as The Larvae of the Outer Gods, is an Outer God which appears in the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu Mythos.
Description[]
One of the Larvae of the Outer Gods, the Star Mother's true appearance is at present unknown, although in this plane of existence it appears as a small sculpture of yellowish stone which has the suggestion of a female form, plump and heavy-chested but without a face. From this figure extend a multitude of tendrils, each around the width of a pencil.
Whilst the Star Mother is worshiped by no mortal cult, it retains a cohort of undead zombie servants, although how it creates and maintains them remains a mystery.
Although the Star Mother's name indicates an adult entity, her size and the fact that one of her epithets is The Larvae of the Outer Gods would suggest that she is in fact an immature member of her species.
