The Slimes are one of the first monsters that the player would encounter in the JRPG Dragon Quest. They are usually considered to be one of the weakest monsters in the game. They also serve as the mascot of Dragon Quest and is one of the most popular monster in the game.

Slimes usually share a common feature of having a water droplet like body with a smiling face on it. They are usually blue in color, however, there are different breeds of Slimes, coming in different colors and shapes, having different abilities, ranging from healing spells or offensive spells.
Biography[]
Usually, the blue slimes served as the first monsters that the Hero would encounter, and would appear as wild monsters in the first field. However, in later in-game, some slimes would gain the ability to fuse with each other. When three slimes fused with each other, it would results in a slime stack, when eight slimes fused, it would create a king slime.
