The Sheltering Zone is a large Emblem Heartless that appears as an enemy in Kingdom Hearts. It appears identical to the Sea Neon, but is much larger.
The Sheltering Zone appears in Atlantica and behaves in much the same manner as the Sea Neon, although its movements are slower. It attacks by slapping Sora with its tentacles and by spinning, but its slower movements make it easier to avoid. When encountered, Sheltering Zones are often accompanied by Sea Neons and can also split into Sea Neons after being attacked. When a Sheltering Zone's health is almost depleted, it will split into three Sea Neons, creating more enemies for Sora to fight. However, this only occurs if it is attacked with weapons. It can be destroyed without splitting by using magic against it.
