Satyr

satyr is a type of magical creature that originates from Greek mythology. A humanoid being of short stature, the satyr has the upper body of a human with the lower body resembling a goat (goat legs covered in rough hair, a small tail and sometimes a goat's phallus). Satyrs also typically have a pair of goat's horns protruding from their heads.

Satyrs were originally described by the ancient Greeks as being elderly, ugly creatures, but later artistic interpretations of satyrs depicted them as quite the opposite: youthful and physically attractive. Living a rustic lifestyle in the wilderness, satyrs were said to be spirits of fertility and were responsible for bringing about bountiful harvests. These beings have long been associated with Dionysus, the Greek god of wine, and are depicted as jovial creatures that regularly indulge in festive activities such as drinking, singing, dancing and sex.
