SCP-966, also known as, Sleep Killer, are creatures that are appears to be predatory. They are classified as a Euclid SCP by the SCP Foundation.
Appearance[]
SCP-966 appears to be 4 instances that they are creatures that appears to predatory. The creatures resembled to be hairless, digitigrade humans. They possessed a elongated head and needle like teeth. On SCP-966's hands, they have five claws that can be up to 20 cm long as usual. Although their claws are sharp and easy to break and unfit for combat. These SCPs that are a range of height from 1.4 to 1.6 meters, and also 30 kg in weight. SCP-966 are physically weak due to hollow bones and low muscle density. However, the SCP are not resting or sleep. Instead, they will stop the movement at seemingly random intervals at all times and resuming normal activity three to five minutes later.

SCP-966 can only be seen when the wavelengths that are ranging from 700 nm to 900 nm. This means that applies to all of the SCP-966's tissues as usual. Although, SCP-966 if their skin, muscle, or tissues have burns from fire, the affected areas will be visible at wavelengths ranging from 360 to 900 nm and this is possible.
SCP-966's diet or feeds on medium-to-large-sized animals, and also including humans as well. At this point, SCP-966 hunt alone or in groups or pairs while the process is going. And they bursts a previously unknown type of wave which permanently inhibits the ability or the power to enter the NREM and also REM stages of sleep. And also the lost of micro-sleep. The effective range of the [Black Box] waves is up to 20 meters. The testing shows that the waves can be blocked by Pb (lead) or any other pot-trsnsition materials.
All of the attempts to make the victims of SCP-966's sleep have failed. But it is still possible to induce other forms of unconsciousness also. This means that the prove to the human referred to as the victim that they are affected by this SCP and also not providing true rest such as sleeping.
