Roguenecromancy

Rogue Necromancy box art by Wyrd Games, LLC.

Rogue Necromancy is a type of creature found in Wyrd Games' Malifaux universe.

Description[]

Rogue Necromancy is when a gigantic vulture, a stag and a hoarcat is put onto an operating people, sewn and stitched together and then re-animated as an undead monstrosity resembling a Chimera. These creatures typically have three separate heads, and a venom spitting scorpion tail. One of the creatures often has to act as the main bulk of the undead chimera, but the parts of other specimens used in its creation are sprinkled all around the body. Wings from the giant vulture are not strong enough to lend themselves to actual flight, but they do add to its terrifying appearances.
Rogue Necromancy is a vicious combatant, and despite the stitchwork, it can use its claws, teeth and beak to strike in rapid succession. Although not consisting of a single organism makes this monster somewhat frail, it has strange mockery of metabolism that can re-vitalize itself if exposed to poisons and toxins that would be lethal to most other living or undead creatures.

History[]

First Rogue Necromancy was created by Dr. Douglas McMourning, but was abandoned in the good doctor's basement for a long time because of other pressing matters its creator had to face. During this time the monstrosity managed to escape, and has stalked the streets of Malifaux ever since. When McMourning returned to his project, he was disappointed to find it gone. But breakthroughs he had accomplished during the creation of the first undead chimera made creating other such creatures less time consuming, and the first Rogue Necromancy likely is not the only one of its kind any longer.
