The Red Fright is a Dark Gaia minion that appears in Sonic Unleashed. It is a tougher variant of the Dark Fright.
When Dark Gaia's influence spread across the shattered planet, Red Frights were manifested by the insults and thrash talk exchanged between citizens that were affected by the negative energy. These creatures look similar to the Dark Fright, but have pinkish-red bodies and glowing green eyes and markings.
In combat, Red Frights will attack Sonic the Werehog by tackling him at high speed or bouncing on top of him. When they are not attacking, they will whizz around in an erratic fashion.
