Rath is one of the many alien forms made accessible to young hero Ben Tennyson by the alien Omnitrix in Cartoon Network's Ben 10 animated franchise.
Description[]
Resembling nothing so much as a nine foot tall anthropomorphic tiger, Rath is a heavily-muscled creature with long talons and prominent upper fangs and lower tusks. He is capable of extending a single large claw from the back of each hand to assist him in combat. He is an aggressive beast, taken from the DNA sample of an Appoplexian from the planet Appoplexia, is known to act before thinking things through, and speaks in the third person while constantly mixing his metaphors.
Powers and Abilities[]
Rath is possessed of extremely high levels of superhuman strength, durability, speed, agility and reflexes, in addition to being able to leap tremendous distances. These factors, when combined with his natural weaponry and aggression, make him a fearsome and acrobatic combatant. In addition, his senses are developed far beyond the human norm, granting him an almost supernatural degree of perception.
Weaknesses[]
As stated previously, Rath is an impulsive creature who tends to act first and worry about the consequences later. As a result, he can find himself in over his head, or faced with issues which have arisen because he failed to properly assess the situation.
The original series version was also afraid of water and was highly susceptible to a particular sonic frequency, which could in theory kill him.
