Rapidash is a Fire-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Ponyta. It is larger than Ponyta, has ruby-red eyes and a horn upon its head. Its mane and tail burn wildly like a raging inferno.

Rapidash are rarely captured from the wild, largely due to their carefree nature and their great speed. They are known to be highly competitive and can gallop up to 150 mph. At top speed, Rapidash's hooves barely touch the ground and its mane, tail and fetlocks blaze wildly.
Galarian Variant[]
In Galar, Rapidash takes on a new form with a white coat, pale blue eyes, and a long, curly mane and tail coloured in streaks of pastel cyan and pink. Its horn is much longer than that of regular Rapidash and is deep violet in colour with a spiraling white line running its length. Its fetlocks are adorned with long pink fur that stores psychic energy, which gives it a swift, airy gait, and it has deep violet hooves. Galarian Rapidash is known for being brave and prideful. It can channel its psychic power into a powerful Psycho Cut from its horn that can pierce through sheet metal.

- Psycho Cut - A powerful psychic attack in which the Galarian Rapidash casts blades of psychic energy to slice through opponents.
- Dazzling Gleam - The Galarian Rapidash releases a blinding flash of light from its horn, repelling all enemies around it.
