Poyomon is a Newborn Slime-Type Digimon. It has a small, translucent body like a jellyfish with beady eyes and a mouth, but no other features. This amoebic Digimon was discovered floating through the Net Ocean and its simple form has led scientists to believe that Poyomon may be the "missing link" in Digimon evolution, the key to discovering the origins of all Digimon.

As a Newborn, Poyomon cannot fight and only has one move: Bubble Blow. It produces acidic bubbles to intimidate and distract foes while it flees.
