Poliwrath is a Water/Fighting type Pokémon and one of two possible evolutions of Poliwhirl. This evolution is brought about by exposing Poliwhirl to a Water Stone.

When Poliwhirl evolves into Poliwrath, it becomes bulkier as it develops more muscle. Its arms and legs never tire and it is an incredibly strong swimmer. It is even capable of running on the water's surface for a brief period. Unlike its evolutionary predecessors which prefer the water, Poliwrath prefers to dwell on land a short distance from the water.
Abilities[]
- Hypnosis - Staring into the spiral pattern on Poliwrath's front will lull the victim to sleep.
- Circle Throw - Poliwrath grabs its opponent, lifts them over its head and throws them a considerable distance.
- Bubblebeam - Poliwrath shoots a stream of hard bubbles to deal moderate damage.
- Dynamic Punch - An explosive punch that inflicts heavy damage and leaves the opponent dazed and confused.
