Pidgeot is a first-generation Flying-type Pokémon. It is the evolved form of Pidgeotto and the final evolution in the Pidgey family.

Pidgeot is admired for its beautiful glossy feathers and is generally considered a favourite amongst Trainers who specialize in Flying-type Pokémon. It is among the fastest Pokémon in the world, capable of flying at Mach 2 speed. It spreads out its large wings to intimidate foes in battle and its wingbeats can generate winds powerful enough to bend trees. In the wild, Pidgeot prey on Magikarp and can spot them even from 3,000 feet in the air before swooping down to snatch them in their talons.
