Oorn is a Great Old One which is referred to in the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu Mythos.
Description[]
Said to resemble some kind of colossal mollusc, Oorn is believed to have a multitude of tentacle-like appendages which are capable of projecting a digestive fluid. She uses this corrosive substance to douse her prey in order to pre-digest them for consumption. Like her mate Mnomquah, another Great Old One, she has a number of cults devoted to her worship amongst both the Men of Leng and the Moon-beasts. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
