Numemon

Numemon is an Adult-level Mollusk Digimon of the Virus class. It resembles a large slug, with a limbless body, eyes on stalks and a large mouth filled with teeth. Its eyes resemble those of a human, though they have red irises and are perpetually bloodshot. Its skin is a vibrant green with indigo splotches.

Numemon is neither intelligent nor especially powerful. In fact, its most distinctive ability is throwing its faeces at enemies. Child-level Digimon that are raised poorly are more likely to digivolve into this unfortunate and unpleasant state. It prefers to dwell in dark, damp areas. It seems to share a symbiotic relationship with Monzaemon, taking up residence inside its soft body.

Abilities[]

  • Poop Toss - Numemon throws its own faeces at its enemies.
  • Filth Kick - Numemon twists around on the spot to kick up dirt and filth in the enemy's face.
  • Yucky Tongue - Numemon licks the opponent with a disgusting slurp.
  • Smelly Breath - Numemon belches out a cloud of noxious gas.

Variants[]

X-Antibody[]

Numemon x

When imbued with the X-Antibody, Numemon grows in size and takes on a more slime-like consistency. Its body turns to a magenta coloration with green markings and its teeth become much sharper. Its eye stalks cross and fuse together, forming an X shape. The grime covering its body periodically drops off and turns into smaller Numemon.

Numemon flaunts the X-Antibody around on its tongue, though it is so covered in filth that no self-respecting Digimon would dare to try and take it. Although still repulsive to look at, Numemon actually takes on a more noble mindset under the influence of the X-Antibody; it cares strongly for those it considers its friends and will courageously stand up to opponents much stronger than itself for the sake of its friends' protection. Its primary attack is Poop Rush, in which it and all the smaller Numemon it has spawned will throw a barrage of faeces at a single opponent.
