A Noderabo is an unhappy ghost from Japanese folklore that haunts shrines, said to be the cursed spirit of monks or priests who committed sins during their lifetime and thus haunt the place of their deaths as yokai that tend to be heard rather than seen, mourning their pitiful existence in a state of eternal unrest.
