The Necromancer is a type of Heartless that exclusively appears in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. It is a stronger variant of the Shaman and is encountered in the Cavern of Remembrance.
The Necromancer's body is predominantly covered in black fur, but its arms and tail are covered in yellow fur while its legs are green. A red and black mask covers the creature's face. It carries a strange-looking wand with its tail.
Unlike the Shaman, Necromancers do not ride atop Living Bones, but they possess the same attacks as Shamen. They can cast Curse, which is capable of killing even a high-level character in no time. As well as this, they can also cast flaming Will-o-Wisps and Thundaga spells, or attack physically by striking with their claws. They are highly resistant to magical attacks, so it is best to attack them head-on with the Keyblade. There is also a rare chance that a Shaman will drop its staff, the Spell's Relic+, when defeated, which Donald Duck can use as a weapon.
