The Nasty Little Man is the titular villain of the short PS1-inspired horror game, Nasty Little Man. The creature is never actually given a name in-game but is referred to as such in all other media. His appearance and mannerisms are inspired by the controversial (yet still very popular) puppet show, Punch and Judy.
Biography[]
The unnamed protagonist of the game starts off trying to collect pieces of a mysterious vessel after foolishly unleashing a malevolent spirit into their home. Many occult symbols and candles are shown across the house, suggesting the protagonist was some sort of sorcerer who foolishly experimented with a type of magick they were very ill-prepared to handle.
As the player races to collect the pieces of the vessel scattered around the home, the Nasty Little Man unleashes a small army of clones who relentlessly pursue the protagonist. Every time these clones are looked at they curse the protagonist to shrink down (presumably transforming them into a puppet). The only way to evade the demons is to avoid looking at the clones, which becomes increasingly difficult as time goes on.
Once all pieces of the vessel are collected the protagonist must endure one final test as they race to the altar. If they succeed and place all parts of the vessel back onto said altar, the Nasty Little Man is banished, letting out a final cry of anger before being sent back to Hell.
