Nando Baba are a type of hag yokai that resides in sheds, cupboards or store-rooms, especially ones that are very dirty and dark - they are not hostile to humans and just wish to be left alone, if startled they may attack humans by screaming and chasing them but will quickly be scared away before they do any true harm.
Nando Babas are believed to be the result of ancient household spirits and guardians who have been transformed into yokai due to ancient beliefs changing, resulting in the former guardians being reduced to their current hag-like forms.
