Mujina are magical badgers who have become yokai after living to an incredibly old age and are often confused with tanuki, they are more secretive than most animal yokai and are not a threat to humans (who they try to avoid).
During the hours of night Mujina take human forms and often take to the streets to sing, they also like to play tricks on humans but are much more careful to ensure humans can not find their true identities - thus are masters of hiding in plain sight (though many of them prefer to live far in the mountains, making them a very rare yokai for most to encounter).
