The Mother of Pus is an Outer God from the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu Mythos.
Description[]
The Mother of Pus manifests on our dimensional plane as a disgusting gelatinous conglomeration of eyeballs, mouths and tentacles, although as with all of her kind her true cosmic form is completely incomprehensible to the human mind.
When she is summoned to our world, usually by insane cultists or deluded individuals, she prefers to spend her time inhabiting the most foetid pools of rancid water.
History[]
Concieved through a depraved mating between the Outer God Shub-Niggurath and a human - whether male or female is unknown - the Mother of Pus is considered by most scholars to be one of the less powerful of her kind, but as with all of that fell race, this is an entirely relative concept.
Appearances[]
- Behold the Mother (1998), by Richard Watts.
