      Monster Wiki is a comprehensive catalogue of monsters from all types of settings, be they ancient folklore, classic novels, film, television, traditional gaming or video games. This is a wiki that is open to edits. If you have any questions about anything, or need a few words on getting started, then message either TheSmoog78 or Devo DrakeFox and we'll try to lend a hand. Those two tend to be the ones most active, but everyone has speciality areas, so your "first contact" might not be the best person to speak to about your topic; don't worry though, whoever you talk to will be able to point you in the right direction and get you on your way. If you’re new to Monster Wiki though, we’d like to ask you to take a couple of minutes to read the Monster Wiki Policies page. It’s not long, and we hope that everything there is stuff you’d have thought about anyway. We hope to see you around, and happy editing! To write a new article, just enter the article title in the box below.

First and foremost, we need editors that can add articles of a high quality. We've still to publish a page on how to write an article, but hit the random page button a couple of times, and you'll see some good examples of how we would like the pages to be set out. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact one of the Admins. Our ears are always open. This wiki has three lists of articles that need help called "Stubs", "Pages that need help" and "Wanted Articles". Don't be shy, get in there. Uploading images is another really easy way to help out - see the Special:Upload page! You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on the templates project page.
