As one of the wiki's on this platform, Monster wiki as well has it's own rules, which we'd like to share with you, and before you start editing here, please read all of the rules down below, in order to be ready to start contributing to this wiki!

The Rules

  1. Monsters - Humans are not Monsters. the term "Monster", can be used for a human which done horrifying deeds, but this wiki is based only on creatures which are in a totally different spectrum of humans. Also do not add any real-life villains here. We do not put out articles about actual people which actually are considered monsters for their deeds. This is a fictional wiki.
  2. Plagiarism - Do NOT create plagiarism. Taking text from Wikipedia.com, or another Wikia is strictly against the rules here. We want to be a original wiki, with actual self-written text, which we can provide for the world. If you want to copy our text off this wiki, please ask one of the Admins before doing so.
  3. Terminology & Grammar - Be picky which words do you use. Limit offensive words (for example if you are writing about a Mature work) but remember Fandom's ToS, slurs will not be tolerated, regardless of the rating of a work. When you are writing a page on the wiki, please slowly think of what you are writing of. Also, please focus on your grammar, we want to try and have as qualified pages as we possibly can.
  4. Trolling and Vandalism - Please, if you are here only to make negative edits, and destroy the wiki. Dont, this will automatically get added in the blacklist, and ultimately get you removed off this wiki.
  5. Double Accounts - Only edit on one account. There's no need for you to have two, three, multiple accounts to use. We want users which can seriously edit, and not create backup accounts if they create a mistake on the wiki.
  6. Harassment - Harassing anyone because any reason wont get you anywhere here. If you have a complain or ideas anything, tell it to the admins, and they will respond to you as quick as possible. Dont go and ask constantly the same question, or distribute other editors which can not provide help over your situation.
  7. Verified Info - Fan Fictional creatures are not allowed. This wiki is for monsters which have their history, their appearances, and their story line, which is known in the world. Adding your own monster which you created, isn't compatible here. You can always go to a fictional wiki and write whatever you are thinking of. Also please dont create falsification out of information's.
  8. Categories - Please ask a Admin before making a new category. Also a minimum for a category page is 20 articles, which will fulfill the category. If there is 20, or more articles which are in the same connection as the category, tell it to the admins.
  9. Be kind to each other. It may seem like something that doesn’t need to be said, but you’d be surprised how often people can come across as mean, and it’s usually when they don’t think about what they’ve said. If you’re commenting on somebody else’s work, or replying to a post, just take a second to think: “would I have wanted someone to talk to me like this?” If the answer is “no,” then take a moment to think how you could reword your post to seem more constructive, or simply less aggressive.
  10. No racism, sexism, or political agendas. Unless they are actually a part of the monster’s story, then these are not things which should be discussed on Monster Wiki. Again, if you see this here, report it to the Admins.
  11. No unsafe images. Due to the nature of Monster Wiki, our site is regularly viewed by younger people. If you even think that the image you’re uploading might be unsuitable for younger viewers, then the chances are it isn’t. Nothing that isn’t safe for school or work is allowed here.
  12. Don’t add pages with no content. Whilst we want to have as many pages as possible on Monster Wiki, if you create a page, it must still contain at least the basic information about that monster. If you think that your page is lacking, then simply add the “Pages that need help” or “Article stub” category. If you’d like one of the longer-term editors to have a look at it and add info, or give you help, then message one of the Admins to let them know.
  13. Pages marked as UNDER CONSTRUCTION. These pages should not be edited by those who did not create them. In general, these pages are marked as such because the creator didn’t have enough time to finish it off in one sitting. If the page has been marked as UNDER CONSTRUCTION for more than one month, then please report this to an Admin, and one of us will decide whether or not it should be open to editing.
  14. Disambiguations - If you are creating a Disambiguation page, please do NOT include (Disambiguation) in it's name. Instead, the Disambiguation page should be the primary article for any Monster that has two or more pages titled the same. Examples: Ghost, Devil, Slender Man. Please do NOT rename pages and add (Disambiguation) in it's title. You will be banned if so.

Other than that, enjoy your time here, and don’t worry if you make a mistake here and there. Everything can be fixed on Wikia!
