Monster Wiki aims to be a comprehensive catalogue of monsters from all types of settings, be they ancient folklore, novels, film, television, tabletop gaming or video games- if you like monsters, you’ll like Monster Wiki!

If you have any questions about anything, or need a few words on getting started, then message Devo DrakeFox and they'll try to lend a hand. Who tends to be the one most active, but everyone has speciality areas, so your "first contact" might not be the best person to speak to about your topic; don't worry though, whoever you talk to will be able to point you in the right direction and get you on your way.

If you’re new to Monster Wiki though, we’d like to ask you to take a couple of minutes to read the Monster Wiki:Rules page. It’s not long, and we hope that everything there is stuff you’d have thought about anyway.

We hope to see you around, and happy editing!

Adding content

First and foremost, we need editors that can add articles of a high quality. We've still to publish a page on how to write an article, but hit the random page button a couple of times, and you'll see some good examples of how we would like the pages to be set out. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact one of the Admins. Our ears are always open. This wiki has three lists of articles that need help called "Stubs", "Pages that need help" and "Wanted Articles". Don't be shy, get in there. Uploading images is another really easy way to help out - see the Special:Upload page! You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on the templates project page.
