Michelangelo - or Mikey for short - is the youngest of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He is also the most immature and foolish, hardly what anyone would call prime ninja material, yet he is also streetwise and a great fighter despite his lack of discipline. He wears an orange bandanna and is named after the Renaissance artist and sculptor Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni.
Overview[]
Mikey is not what anyone would call an ideal ninja. He is undisciplined and generally a slower learner than his brothers, having a rather short attention span. While maybe not the smartest or wisest of the Turtles, Mikey has a good heart and a gentle soul. Despite his easy-going nature and childish mindset, he possesses an uncanny degree of raw talent; his fighting style is largely improvised and often leaves his enemies confused. He wields the nunchaku to great effect, despite them being among the most difficult weapons to master.
Abilities and skills[]
Mikey wields the nunchaku, which are regarded as being one of the most notoriously difficult weapons to wield among the martial arts. Though he can be clumsy and unfocused, he possesses an astonishing level of natural talent. His ninja skills aren't as significant as those of his brothers, but he makes up for it by being a master of improvisation; he watches a lot of television and learns a great many techniques from various shows. Not all of the moves he learns are even fighting moves, yet Mikey can use these techniques to great effect in a fight.
