Officer Matthew Cordell or simply Matt Cordell is the Main Antagonist of the Maniac Cop Series. He is a ex-police officer returned from the dead who kills everyone he can around New York City while still being in uniform.

Matt Cordell was a New York police officer, who little by little began to realize that there was corruption in the world of justice, which involved highly relevant individuals such as judges, police officers and even the governor of the city. So a corrupt judge sentenced him to prison for a crime he didn't commit, thanks to a trap the state had set for him. Once in the prison bathrooms, some thugs who had been imprisoned by Matt decided to take revenge, and between the three of them they attacked Matt, killing him and leaving scars on his face, but even so, Matt's heart continued to beat with the desire to kill him. revenge, coming back from the dead to do justice against the city.
