Mary Weaver is the overarching antagonist in the horror game Wick and its DLC No Way Out. She is the matriarch of the Weaver Family, being the wife of John Weaver and the mother of their children with it being implied at various points throughout the game that she may have done immoral things despite having been strictly religious.

Abilities[]

Mary is shown to be able to levitate in No Way Out and can presumably teleport herself as well as she suddenly got very close in TBubber’s face.

Appearance[]

Mary’s ghost seems to look exactly like how she was before she died although the only major difference is that her skin has been severely burned while she wears a white dress with brown hair. Up close, she’s shown to have white eyes with a gaping mouth.

Background[]

Mary was the wife of John Weaver, a World War I veteran with the couple and their five children residing in a cabin on a mountain in the 1920’s with Mary taking Benny, Caleb and Lillian to church with her every Sunday. On a Tuesday, Her and John’s house was suddenly destroyed in a fire with authorities only finding the parents’ bodies while the siblings were missing although Tim and Tom were the only ones to not be added to the newspaper for unknown reasons. Unbeknownst to everyone, however, the Weavers’ ghosts would haunt the woods and kill anybody who enters.

Wick[]

In the main game, Mary is mostly referenced in various audio clips and journal pages although she makes a brief appearance in the “Toasty!” achievement where she seems to appear in a vision of the house’s destruction and then disappears. The player will eventually learn more about Mary from recordings of Old Man Edwards and Pastor James McAlroy who both knew the Weavers personally with Edwards stating that she never paid attention to any of her children, especially the twins while McAlroy implies that Mary may have sinned, resulting in the birth of Tim and Tom. In one recording, John blames Mary for causing the downfall of their family before hanging himself.

No Way Out[]

She appears once again in No Way Out where she will suddenly turn around and attack TBubber once he locates her ghost if he goes near the Homestead ruins by the Bridge although this doesn’t seem to harm him.

Trivia[]

Mary is heavily implied to have sinned herself since in one recording, she prays to God while claiming she’s been evil since childhood and may have attracted the attention of a demon or had an affair which the game makes vague.
