The Maneater 2 is a Blue variant in the anime series Blue Gender. Unlike the first breed of Maneater, the Maneater 2 has no flight capability and is restricted to the ground. This Blue type has a warped body structure, its body being largely shaped like a giant pincer or vice with long, spindly multi-jointed limbs ending in curved claws for swiping up human prey and tearing them apart. One of the strangest parts of the Maneater 2's body is its mouth; the creature's claw-shaped head opens up from the back, revealing a great, horrific maw. The creature's core is located on the front of its head, just beneath its eyes. Some Maneater 2's would later develop beak-shaped extensions that would hide the core from view.
