Luther Macintyre IX is a planet which features in Games Workshop's Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Located somewhere in the Ultima Segmentum region of the Milky Way, Luther Macintyre IX is a death-world (a planet inimically hostile to human life) of the desert variety. Consisting entirely of vast swathes of blistering sand dunes and rocky canyons, Luther boasts tornado-level winds that create giant sandstorms which constantly march across the face of the world; these storms are said to be powerful enough to flay the skin from a man in a matter of seconds, and are one of the main reasons that the planet is so dangerous.
Luther Macintyre IX is also suspected of being a Necron Tomb World, although for the moment this is unsubstantiated.

Luther Macintyre IX boasts many indigenous species of complex organisms, a majority of which are subterranean, an adaptation which allows the creatures to avoid the hostile environs of the planet's surface.
