Lights are a subspecies of angel in the roleplaying game Dungeons & Dragons. They small, non-corporeal entities with no discernable form, appearing as no more than wisps of glowing mist. Lights are creatures of pure energy and goodness, acting as messengers of the gods or as familiars to higher angels. They could also be called upon by mortal worshippers of strong faith in their patron deities, granting divine protection from evil forces.
