Lemmy Koopa is one of the seven Koopalings from the Super Mario Bros. video game series. He has appeared in several games along with the other Koopalings as well as in the Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World cartoon shows, in which he is known as Hip Koopa. In the early games and TV shows, Lemmy was depicted as one of Bowser's children, but this concept was dropped following the introduction of Bowser Jr..
Lemmy is not the youngest of the Koopalings, though he is the smallest. He has tan-coloured skin with a cream-coloured belly while his head is green with a cream muzzle. His hair is done up in a mohawk and dyed in yellow, blue and pink stripes. He has an orange shell on his back covered in spikes just like Bowser and the other Koopalings and has two orange warpaint stripes on both sides of his face.
While Lemmy isn't the youngest of the Koopalings, he behaves as such. He frequently displays a childish and immature personality and is known to be a fun-loving prankster. He is generally considered to be the least "evil" of Bowser's minions, preferring to joke around and have a good time rather than commit to the Koopa Clan's conquests.
Lemmy appears to be the most acrobatic of all the Koopalings. He has previously demonstrated a variety of gymnastic stunts, from hand-stands to somersaults to balancing on a giant circus ball. Balancing on a circus ball is one of Lemmy's favourite hobbies and his choice of locomotion in most situations. He is also skilled in magic, both the arcane and stage varieties, and often fights by magically conjuring circus balls that bounce around or by throwing bombs.
