Lügner is a demon who serves under Aura the Guillotine. He infiltrates Graf Granat's domain, posing as a peaceful envoy to gain access to the town's defensive barrier. Lügner's true goal, however, is to exploit the barrier's weaknesses and aid in Aura’s broader plan.

Lügner has shoulder-length ash blonde hair, parted in the middle with two strands framing his face. His horns are medium-sized, curving upwards and forwards. He dresses in the style of Graf Granat, wearing a long, ruffled white cravat with a gemstone fastening, a dark doublet, gray pants, a dark coat with gold trimmings, and knee-high white boots. His overall appearance exudes elegance and sophistication, hiding his true demon nature.
Personality[]
Lügner is initially presented as laid-back, empathetic, and calculating. He seems understanding, as he relates to Graf Granat’s grief over his son’s death. However, it is revealed that these emotions are feigned, as demons cannot truly experience human feelings. Lügner prides himself on his magical abilities, particularly his blood magic, and is both deceptive and confident. He is skilled at mimicking human emotions to manipulate others, showcasing his cunning and manipulation.
Story[]
Lügner is part of a group of demons sent by Aura the Guillotine to infiltrate Graf Granat’s town under the guise of peace. His true mission is to lower the city's barrier for Aura’s executioners. Lügner manipulates situations, such as deceiving Graf Granat about his grief, and confronts Frieren, Fern, and Stark as they arrive. He attempts to use his blood magic to track enemies and control situations, but his facade begins to crack as the story progresses. After the death of his companion Draht, Lügner’s true nature as a ruthless manipulator and skilled fighter is revealed. He is eventually defeated by Fern after a fierce battle, where his underestimation of her leads to his downfall.
