Kumonga in Godzilla: Final Wars
Kumonga (クモンガ), also known as Spiga, is a giant spider monster that acted as the main antagonist in the 1967 film Son of Godzilla.
Appearance[]
Kumonga looks like a giant spider with a black body with yellow stripes and blue eyes. In the Showa series, Kumonga is 45 meters tall, 45 meters long, and weighs 8,000 tons. In Godzilla: Final Wars, Kumonga is 35 meters tall, 60 meters long, and weighs 30,000 tons.
Origins[]
According to the journal of Japanese paleontologist Dr. Matsuyama, Kumonga is a giant spider native to Sollgel Island that kills and eats any creature in sight. It sleeps in a deep valley for years at a time.
