Kadabra is a Psychic-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Abra. Having learned to make full use of its psychic abilities, Abra undergoes its evolution and employs a variety of attacks.
Pokédex Data[]
Kadabra is a humanoid Pokémon with a segmented body structure akin to an insect, though it is not a Bug-type Pokémon. It has a long, thick-furred tail, a pair of pointed ears, and a pointed snout with long whiskers extending from either side like a moustache. In the wild, Kadabra are known to reside near urban areas or sometimes in caverns.
After its evolution, Kadabra constantly emits alpha waves as every cell in its brain works in unison. These waves can have a harmful effect on others in its proximity, causing drowsiness and severe headaches. Kadabra always carries a silver spoon in its hand which serves to amplify and focus its powers. Where the spoons come from is a total mystery.
Abilities[]
- Kinesis - Using telekinesis to influence its environment and its motion, Kadabra increases its evasion, making it difficult for enemies to hit it.
- Confusion - A psychic assault that leaves the victim confused and likely to attack allies or hurt itself.
- Miracle Eye - A flash from the star symbol on Kadabra's head causes Dark-type Pokémon to lose their immunity to psychic attacks.
- Psybeam - A beam of psychic energy that inflicts moderate damage and can potentially cause confusion.
Evolution[]
Kadabra can evolve into Alakazam when it is traded to another Pokémon Trainer. It is unknown how/if it evolves in the wild.
