Kabuto is a Rock/Water-type Pokémon based on a horseshoe crab. Believed to have gone extinct tens of thousands of years ago, it has since been resurrected in modern times thanks to genetic engineering technology and has been reintroduced into the wild in certain regions. Kabuto can be cloned from ancient DNA extracted from a Dome Fossil.
Pokédex Data[]
Kabuto is a Shellfish Pokémon with a flat body that is supported by four curved limbs. The body is protected by a hard brown shell. At the front of the shell are two tiny black eyes that Kabuto uses to see when traveling across the seafloor. Most of its underside cannot be seen as it is shrouded in a black space that obscures everything other than its legs and a second pair of eyes that glow red.
Though believed to have gone extinct long ago, isolated populations of Kabuto have endured for over 300 million years. One such population exists on the beach of the Isle of Armor in the Galar region. Though it may not look like it, Kabuto are powerful swimmers.

- Aqua Jet - Spraying water from its swim bladder, Kabuto rockets forward to ram its opponent.
