John Silver is the main antagonist-turned-deuteragonist of Treasure Planet. He was voiced by Brian Murray.

He is a extraterrestrial cyborg, so he has robotic parts. He works as a cook aboard the R.L.S. Legacy, though his true identity is that he is a pirate searching all over space for Captain Flint's lost treasure. It's easy for him to get it with his mechanical arm that can transform into all kinds of tools: a cannon, a saber, or a flamethrower, among other things. He has Morfo as a pet, a creature with the ability to change his appearance. When Silver meets Jim Hawkins, a boy he befriends, his heart melts, and he thinks he should just forget about the treasure. When they find the treasure and the planet explodes, and Jim is about to fall into the void, Silver gives up the treasure to save Jim, and the only coins he could take from the treasure, he gave to Jim.
