Jack Frost is a legendary elven figure belonging to the folklore of northern Europe, it is believed that this myth comes from the Anglo-Saxons and Norse. Their job is to make it snow or create typical winter conditions, frost and bite on the nose and toes in that weather, color the foliage in the fall, and leave frost on the windows in winter. He sometimes appears in Christmas fiction as in charge of creating the conditions for Santa Claus to deliver gifts from him.
