Inglets are diminuitive pure Ing forms that appear in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Appearing as small blobs of black ooze, these are the weakest of the Ing Horde and are ill-suited to combat, serving the horde as its primary labourers. When Samus Aran traverses the wastes of Dark Aether, she is likely to encounter these creatures spying on her. To defend themselves, Inglets throw small globs of dark matter at Samus. These attacks do little damage and the Inglets have low defence, so they can be quickly destroyed with just the Power Beam.
