Hypno is a Psychic-type Pokémon and the evolved form of Drowzee. Known as the Hypnosis Pokémon, its specialty is rendering opponents to sleep with its psychic waves and then consuming their dreams.

Hypno is a humanoid Pokémon with yellow skin, five fingers on each hand, three toes on each foot, narrow eyes, pointed ears and a long, triangular nose. It also sports a tuft of white fur surrounding its neck. Mysteriously, Hypno always carries a polished silver pendulum with it which it uses as a focus for its hypnotic powers.
Hypno is able to put people to sleep by swinging its pendulum. It is known to reside away from humans and on less traveled roads. If anyone comes by, Hypno will hypnotize them and eat their dreams. It carries away people having good dreams and is even known to have stolen children. However, in the Alola region, it preys primarily on Komala. While it awaits its prey, it polishes its pendulum.
